- Assist operators with tool offset adjustments, tool changes and any machining issues that may arise. - Setup Doosan twin turret, twin spindle live-tooling lathes - Make sure parts are following inspection procedures - Inspect parts on Zeiss automated CMM - Communicate with other Lead/Managers on progress/expectations
Job Requirements
- Strong lathe background (3 years preferred) - Ability to read and interpret blueprints - Ability to use precision inspection equipment, such as dial calipers, micrometers, dial Indicators, CMM, etc. - Ability to problem solve
Helpful Skills:
- Use of Fanuc Controls - Setting up live tooling lathes - Familiar with Doosan Dual spindle, Dual Turret live tooling lathes - Familiar with automatic bandsaws
