The Inside Salesperson position serves as the liaison between the Customer and Client, handling both incoming and outgoing customer activities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Process all customer quotations and orders within MRP system and facilitate email and phone conversations regarding the quotes and orders. This includes quoting materials with suppliers, expediting, tracking order status, and making any necessary changes to the quotes/orders.
Make decisions on pricing and lead times following general guidelines and interest in what is best for the customer and client
Receive incoming customer calls and email pertaining to day-to-day business and customer feedback.
Receive, enter and communicate Customer Service Inquiries (CSI s). This occurs any time there is a customer suggestion or complaint that is entered into the MRP, communicated internally and then resolved with the customer.
Plan and execute visits to top customers throughout the year.
