Job Description

Are you a master of assembly with a keen eye for detail? We are working with a full-service machine and fabrication shop that has been operating in the Butler County region since 1911! We are looking for a skilled machine shop assembler to join their team to construct large-scale machine parts. If you re experienced at reading blueprints, excel at precision assembly work, and have a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you. Position offers a daylight schedule, Monday - Friday 6:00 am 2:30 pm. Overtime is available, but not mandated. Pay to commensurate with experience. A generous benefit package is offered.

POSITION
Responsibilities include:
Blueprint Proficiency Reading blueprints is a must-have skill to ensure accurate assembly of components
Component Assembly Independently identify and assemble components according to specifications, with no assistance required
Piping Experience Proficiency in running piping to exact specifications
Precision Measurements Perform micrometer readings and set tolerances to .001 when required, ensuring precision in assembly
Welding Skills Experience in welding and fitting is a plus. We primarily use TIG welding, particularly for larger machines and parts
Mathematical Proficiency Strong math skills are essential for accurate measurements and calculations
Logical Problem Solving- Utilize logical thinking to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth assembly processes

Job Requirements

Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
Experience in precision assembly work, preferably in a machine shop environment
Ability to independently assemble components with precision and accuracy
Proficiency in running piping according to specifications
Familiarity with micrometer readings and setting tolerances to .001
Welding experience, particularly TIG welding is a plus
Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations
Logical problem-solving abilities to address assembly challenges effectively
Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
