CHS's client is seeking a non-profit accountant to join their Finance department on the North Side. The ideal candidate has experience in non-profit accounting with knowledge of tracking/managing grants.
Performs monthly close
Prepares grant budget spending reports, invoices and grant payment requests, as well as maintains schedules for monthly close and grant releases.
Account reconciliation and maintenance of general ledger
Prepares schedules for audits, tax returns, etc.
Assist with budget preparation
Generate reports as required
Coordinates inventory counts
Reviews/monitors accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, etc.
Hours: 8a-4p or 9a-5p Excellent work life balance!
