PHARMACY REIMBURSEMENT SPECIALIST

Job Description

Billing and collections assigned payer accounts for a specialty pharmacy. Working closely with payers to determine billing, as well as making collection calls daily on assigned accounts that are past due. Hybrid schedule 4 days work from home and 1 day work in office located near Robinson Town Center, Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities include:
Billing of specialty pharmacy claims.
Electronic submission of claims.
Collections on past due assigned accounts.
Researching / Processing refunds as required.
Tracking of denial.
Preparing bad debt write-offs as required.
Reconciling member accounts as needed.
Pay rate will be based on experience, around the $20.00- 23.00 per hour range. Excellent benefits including Healthcare, Vision, Dental, Paid Time Off, 401K with employer matching, and more. Full time work schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm with 4 days work from home per week and one day in office per week (you chose which day of the week you d like to go into the office).

Job Requirements

A good understanding of pharmacy and medical billing/collections practices across various payer types.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
