Position: Machine Operator

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking dedicated machine operators for our client's company in the Penn Hills area. As a machine operator, you will play a vital role in the machining process of aluminum parts. The position requires individuals who can work on a rotating shift schedule, encompassing all three shifts, which rotate every two weeks. Adaptability and flexibility are crucial attributes for success in this role.
Shift Schedule:
Shift 1: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Shift 2: Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
Shift 3: Monday to Friday, 11:30 pm to 8:00 am
Please note that there is a shift differential of $0.50 for the second shift and $0.65 for the third shift. Third shift runs from Monday to Friday, not Sunday to Thursday. Therefore, the Friday shift will conclude at 8:00 am on Saturday mornings. The company provides one week's advance notice for shift rotation.
Responsibilities:
Receive metal parts and efficiently load them into the CNC machine
Operate CNC machines using pre-programmed settings for specific jobs
Initiate machining cycles using push-button operation
Remove finished parts from the machine upon completion of the cycle
Ensure seamless transfer of parts to the subsequent stage of the process
